Experts can get paid by Synquery using a streamlined payment process managed by a third party payment processor called Tipalti. Here’s how it works:
1. Account Setup
Once you complete an engagement via Synquery, you will create an account with our third party payment processor. Our processor supports multiple payment options, including bank transfers (ACH), PayPal, and wire transfers, depending on your location and preference.
2. Compliance and Security
To ensure safety and compliance, our processor handles tax forms and performs necessary verification, such as validating global payment methods and ensuring anti-fraud measures. This includes adhering to PCI DSS standards for payment security, which protects sensitive financial data.
3. Payment Methods
You can choose from various payment methods such as:
Bank Transfer (ACH).
PayPal
Wire Transfers: For experts located outside the US who need to receive payments in different currencies, our processor provides global payment capabilities. You can select their preferred method, and the system will automatically handle currency conversions where necessary.
4. Payment Timing
Once an engagement is complete, Synquery initiates payments through our processor. The system ensures that experts are paid within a specified period (often within 24-48 hours), although actual receipt times may vary depending on the payment method and the expert’s location. Most engagements are paid within two weeks.
